Something needed to change. After years of waiting for the “right time,” I realized it was now or never. I stopped playing it safe and chose to bet on myself.
During the pandemic, when everyone’s lives were put on pause, I finally had the chance to ask myself something I’d been putting off for too long: What kind of life do I want to build? At the time, I was working in eyeglass sales. My dad is an optician, so I was following in his footsteps. I was good at it. It paid well. But it wasn’t mine. There was no challenge, no growth, and definitely no freedom. And deep down, I knew I wasn’t built for the 9-to-5 routine forever.
That drive to have something of my own really started with my parents. Though separated, they each turned out to be entrepreneurs. My mom ran the auto shop my grandfather started. And my dad always had a new side hustle in motion. I’d get calls from him out of the blue: “I’ve got an idea. Are you in or out?” When I was younger, I wasn’t in a position to say yes to big risks—but I paid attention to the opportunities he would find. And I started to think that
maybe I was wired the same way.
Over time, I tried a few ventures: flipping cars, selling shirts, and testing out small businesses. It was a lot of trial and error, but each experience had something to teach me. Then one day during COVID, I saw a YouTube video of a guy walking through a luxury listing. In that moment, I knew I wanted to be like him. And it wasn’t about the fancy house or the perception of money. It was about the control he had in running his own business, doing his own thing—and doing it well.
It's funny how life works, because it was around that time that patients at work kept telling me I would be good in real estate. And I
was finally ready to really listen and hear what they were saying. They weren’t telling me I was the world’s best salesman. Rather, they knew I connect with the people I serve, ask questions, get to know them, and find solutions for their needs. I was providing real value to people, and it was time to do it on a bigger scale.
And I put my skills to the test right away. My first day as a REALTOR® in 2021, I knocked on a FSBO’s door and landed my first listing. Even with a language barrier, I was able to make it work. And just a few days later, an interested buyer on that property turned into another listing. It was a trial by fire, but as they say, under pressure diamonds are formed. And in my case, that meant honing in on my skills, learning everything I could, and becoming the best representative I can be for my clients.

That first year, I matched what would have been my full-time salary at my previous job. I realized the only thing limiting me now is my own belief in myself and what I am capable of. And that is a powerful thing.
Since then, I’ve continued to fine-tune my approach. Marketing matters. Presentation is important. But none of it means anything if you don’t deliver a quality service to back it up. That pushed me to build my business differently—focused on trust, follow-through, and doing things the right way, always.
Now, heading into 2026, I’m calling this my year of connection. I’ve joined Serhant—a brokerage with great tools, national presence, and a strong culture. I’m also expanding into the Orlando market, so I can have more impact with more people in more places!

I’m a dad to two girls, Amira (6) and Eliana (3). They’re goofballs through and through. My priority is being present for them and enjoying the many amazing things Florida has to offer, while still having that balance to grow my business and create a legacy I’m proud of.
Having lived in Brevard County my whole life, I’ve taken full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle, fishing, and soaking up the sunshine as often as I can. Now that I’m expanding into the Orlando market, I still get all of that, but with the added bonus of more opportunity, more people to serve, and more ways to grow my business.
That mix of nature and city life is exactly what attracts so many people here. And because I understand what matters to people on a real level, I’m able to guide them more effectively — not just toward a property, but toward a decision that actually fits the life they want to build.
So if you’re ready to find the next home for your family, add another investment property to your portfolio, or list your current place and take the next step — I’d love to help! As your REALTOR®, I’ll coordinate all the moving parts so you can stay focused on the big picture. With the right person in your corner, real estate can actually be enjoyable and even fun. I’d love the chance to prove it to you.
Sincerely,

Clinton Luke
